Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) wants to know what matters to you. By providing your feedback in their brief Community Survey, you can help DRTx determine what services to prioritize.
Who is DRTx?
DRTx is the federally designated legal protection and advocacy (P&A) agency for people with disabilities in Texas. Their mission is to help people with disabilities understand and exercise their rights under the law, ensuring their full and equal participation in society. To learn more about DRTx, check out their short “What is a P&A?” video.
Your Feedback Matters
Every year, thousands of Texans with disabilities contact DRTx for assistance with disability rights issues. However, there aren’t enough resources to handle all of these requests, so DRTx wants your feedback to help them determine what services to prioritize. By participating in the Community Survey, people with disabilities, their families and friends, disability advocates, and others can tell DRTx about the things that are most important to people with disabilities in their everyday lives.
About the Survey
People with disabilities, parents, guardians, advocates, and professionals are invited to participate in the survey. The survey will be open from October 2017 through March 2018. The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. For more information, visit DRTx’s Community Survey 2017-18 webpage.
