If you are a Texan with a disability who receives benefits through Medicaid or Medicare, you may be afraid to work because you think it may jeopardize your benefits. However, this isn’t always true – you might be able to work and keep your benefits

In a new video, we answer the big question: If I go to work, will I lose my Medicaid or Medicare? The video covers work incentives and programs available that may allow you to keep your Medicaid and Medicare benefits when you return to work. Specific options that are covered include Continued Medicaid Eligibility – Section 1619(b), Extended Medicare Coverage, and the Texas Medicaid Buy-In Program for Adults.
