Inclusive Faith-Based Communities Symposium
Project Director: Chris Bugbee
Feb. 1, 2012 – Jan. 31, 2015
The Austin Interfaith Inclusion Network was created through partnerships among OneStar Foundation, Jewish Family Service and Texas A&M University’s Center on Disability and Development. The Network is an ongoing, self-sustaining alliance of faith-based organizations in Austin, committed to including people with developmental disabilities and loved ones in faith-based practices and community service and programs. Inclusion successes, concerns and barriers will be identified to inform two annual symposiums that will feature local and national experts and will focus on best practices, goal setting and collaborative problem solving.
